The following Netclime products have been discontinued and are no longer supported. However, as we still receive requests about them, they continue to be available for those who might still be interested.
RoNet
RoNet is a simple and easy to use peer-to-peer network OS. This product was developed between 1991 and 1994, years before NetWare Lite or Windows for Workgroups got launched. RoNet worked initially over serial interface (RS-232) based adapters, and later: on arcnet, and ethernet. It has file and print server, text chat server and voice services. It runs under MS DOS and Windows 3.11. The system is 100% NetBIOS and SMB protocol compliant. The client side has just a 27K-memory footprint, and the server -- 47K. During the life-cycle of the product we had about 3,000 installations, mainly at small-business and government users.
IRIS Phone
IRIS Phone was a very popular internet voice (VoIP) and video phone system in the period 1994-2001, with over 1.2 million users worldwide. It was then considered one of the top 5 products for video telephony. Cheryl Kirk, in her 1996 book "The Internet Phone connection", rated IRIS Phone with more stars than Netscape's Cool Talk. The product was released years before Microsoft's NetMeeting or AOL's AIM.
